START HERE / WHAT SHOULD YOUR SMC DISPLAY DO?

Choose a TradingView SMC indicator by the work you want it to handle

The best Smart Money Concepts indicators for TradingView make a specific part of your chart review clearer. A combined map supplies structure and areas. A sweep tool defines an event. A zone tool classifies locations, while a setup display or freshness tracker organises another part of the process. Match that function to your routine before comparing how many features fit on one chart.

This is a comparison of five VIP Algos products by function. “Best” describes a useful fit for the task, rather than a verified ranking of every TradingView script. Supply and demand is included as a related price-action approach. The guide does not claim that several overlapping labels create independent evidence or that the tools can observe private institutional orders.

The display and the notification are two parts of the workspace

Decide what you want to see on the chart, then select the supported event you want to be notified about. A marked area, a confirmed sweep and a Buy/Sell setup are different conditions. The TradingView alert checks below help you keep the chosen settings and notification in step.

01 / SEE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CHART ELEMENTS

Smart Money Concepts: give the chart a readable SMC framework

Role: BOS / CHoCH structure, liquidity, FVGs and setup guides

Start here if you want more of the SMC picture in one place. Smart Money Concepts combines BOS / CHoCH market structure, liquidity areas, fair value gaps and Buy/Sell guidance on TradingView. Entry, take-profit and stop-loss guide areas add setup context. The practical appeal is seeing how the pieces sit around price without rebuilding a separate set of drawings every time you open the chart.

Smart Money Concepts feature illustration with BOS CHoCH structure FVG areas and entry target risk guides
Smart Money Concepts · view structure, price areas and setup references as related information. Enlarge image ↗

Read the map before the directional label

First identify the structure being marked and the price areas surrounding it. Then inspect the displayed setup guides. That sequence lets you describe what the software is showing in a sentence: the structural context, the area of interest and the reference levels. It is a more useful review than remembering only the colour of a signal.

Choose a broad view when that is the missing piece

This is the combined SMC option in the comparison. If you already have a method for interpreting structure but need one type of event or zone handled more consistently, a specialist tool below may be the clearer addition. The number of visible features matters less than knowing how you will use each one.

Illustrative chart review: An illustrative Gold chart shows a bullish structure reading while price is already near a marked area overhead. Save those observations together, with the TradingView symbol and timeframe. A bullish label and nearby opposing structure can coexist; the map helps you notice that relationship before turning an attractive label into a complete market explanation.

02 / GET SPECIFIC ABOUT THE EVENT AT THE LEVEL

AI Liquidity Sweep Signals: focus on the sweep-and-reclaim event

Role: Liquidity-style areas, confirmed sweeps and next references

A previous high or low gives you a location to watch. AI Liquidity Sweep Signals adds a defined event: a qualified BUY SWEEP or SELL SWEEP after price takes a mapped liquidity-style level and reclaims it. This TradingView liquidity sweep indicator also shows the last sweep, Sweep Quality and the nearest active liquidity above and below price, so the watched level and the resulting event remain easy to distinguish.

AI Liquidity Sweep Signals illustration showing liquidity pools confirmed reclaim labels and next active levels
AI Liquidity Sweep Signals · identify the qualified event, then review its timing and location. Enlarge image ↗

Separate the notification you want from the area you watch

The product supports confirmed sweep alerts alongside optional level-related conditions. Choose the event relevant to your review. A new liquidity area, a broken level and a qualified reclaim are different observations; receiving one type of notification should not be recorded as proof that another condition occurred.

Keep quality and timing in the same record

Sweep Quality describes the model’s reading of the event, not an independently measured probability of success. Note the event time and the quote when you inspect it. That makes it easier to distinguish a fresh chart observation from a signal you opened after the market had already moved.

Illustrative chart review: EUR/USD moves beneath a watched level, reclaims it and produces a qualified BUY SWEEP. You open the notification later on your phone. Record the event time and the current chart position instead of assuming you are seeing the price that existed at confirmation. The event gives your review a defined starting point; it does not promise the next move.

03 / KEEP THE ZONE MAP CONSISTENT

AI Order Blocks & FVG Zones: organise the areas you want to revisit

Role: Order blocks, FVGs, same-side overlap and nearest areas

If your main task is maintaining the price-area map, compare AI Order Blocks & Fair Value Gap Zones for TradingView. It marks confirmed bullish and bearish order blocks, identifies three-candle FVGs and highlights same-side overlap. This is the specialist order block and fair value gap indicator to inspect when you want the types of area clearly distinguished instead of managing an expanding collection of manual rectangles.

Order Blocks and Fair Value Gap Zones product illustration with bullish bearish zones and same side overlap
AI Order Blocks & FVG Zones · make the zone type and its current context easier to identify. Enlarge image ↗

Let the visual differences carry useful meaning

Solid zones identify order blocks, dashed zones identify fair value gaps and gold highlights show overlap. The dashboard adds Current Area, Market Bias and the next Buy/Sell zones. Reading those distinctions helps you understand whether price is approaching a structure area, an imbalance or both.

Monitor the active map rather than a finished screenshot

Areas can fill or invalidate as new candles arrive. New-zone, zone-entry and overlap alerts can organise which changes you review. An attractive historical box is only one part of the story; retain examples that change or fail so you understand how the map develops in use.

Illustrative chart review: A hypothetical index chart has a bearish OB/FVG overlap above price and a separate bullish FVG below. Write down the type and side of the area you intend to observe before selecting an alert. The two regions supply different context. A gold overlap highlight explains why definitions coincide there; it does not reveal a private institutional order or establish a win rate.

04 / CHOOSE A MORE COMPACT SETUP VIEW

Smart Money AI Signals: bring the setup references alongside the signal

Role: Buy/Sell, signal power, Entry, Stop Loss and three targets

Not every chart routine needs detailed structure labels. Smart Money AI Signals gives TradingView users a Buy/Sell setup display with signal power, an Entry area, a Stop Loss zone and TP1 / TP2 / TP3 targets. Compare this option when a readable collection of setup references is more useful to you than inspecting each individual SMC feature.

Smart Money AI Signals product illustration with Buy Sell direction signal power entry stop and three target references
Smart Money AI Signals · inspect the displayed setup and the current quote together. Enlarge image ↗

Review the setup as a relationship between prices

The label is the beginning of the review. Check the current quote against the entry, stop and target areas, then record what the display looked like when you noticed it. The same old signal can sit beside a very different current price after the market has travelled.

Keep chart guidance separate from order execution

Entry, TP and SL areas describe the software’s setup. They are not accepted broker orders and do not set position size or manage your account. Signal power is a model reading to compare with the other fields, rather than a verified percentage chance that the setup will succeed.

Illustrative chart review: A Buy notification draws your attention to an index CFD chart. Before interpreting the target references, check that you opened the same TradingView ticker and data provider used for the alert. Another chart with a similar market name may quote differently. Keeping the source symbol in the record makes the setup easier to review accurately.

05 / ADD THE HISTORY OF EACH PRICE AREA

AI Supply & Demand Zones: see which areas have already been revisited

Role: Supply/demand zones, freshness, retests and strength

For readers who review the condition of a zone as well as its location, AI Supply & Demand Zones marks confirmed areas, tracks UNTOUCHED / TOUCHED status and updates their displayed strength after genuine retests. This TradingView supply and demand indicator is a related price-action option for SMC traders who want the area’s history kept visible without maintaining separate notes on every rectangle.

AI Supply and Demand Zones illustration with fresh tested areas touch status and strength dashboard
AI Supply & Demand Zones · compare distance, freshness and retest history instead of the box alone. Enlarge image ↗

Distinguish nearest from fresh

The nearest area and the freshest area do not have to be the same. Read the nearest supply/demand information alongside touch status, last touch and strength. Those fields help describe the zone in front of you rather than assuming that every visible box has the same history.

Compare the added information with an OB/FVG map

This tool emphasises formation and retest history. The order block/FVG tool emphasises the type of area and overlap. Their zones may share underlying price structure. Choose the additional information your routine needs before treating two related area maps as independent confirmations.

Illustrative chart review: A nearby supply zone is already TOUCHED while another area further away remains fresh. Save the status and distance as separate observations. The first is nearer, but that alone says nothing about whether it has the history your method requires. Freshness and strength organise the review; they do not guarantee that a future reaction will hold.

A broad SMC map or a simpler signal layout?

Smart Money Concepts brings the structure and surrounding areas into one comparison. Smart Money AI Signals emphasises a generated Buy/Sell setup with signal power and Entry / SL / TP references. Choose the view you want to spend time interpreting: the context around price or the setup fields around a label.

When you add a second tool, write down its separate job. A liquidity event and a nearby zone can offer different kinds of context, but both still come from market data interpreted by rules. Agreement between related labels is not automatically independent confirmation, and a busier chart is not evidence of a better method.

UNDERSTAND / THREE TERMS BEHIND THE DISPLAY

BOS, CHoCH and FVG: what the TradingView labels describe

Smart Money Concepts is a family of price-action interpretations, not a single universal indicator specification. Before comparing colours or scores, understand which swing, candle sequence or confirmation condition the product uses. These three terms are useful starting points for reading the chart rather than memorising labels.

BOS · a break within the structural reading

Break of Structure commonly describes a relevant swing being broken in the direction of the existing structure. The selected swing length and confirmation rule determine what the model marks.

The label records a structural interpretation; it does not ensure continuation. Read a structure-break explanation ↗

CHoCH · a possible shift in that sequence

Change of Character commonly refers to a break against the previous structural direction. It can identify a sequence that deserves another look while a broader chart still carries different context.

An early structural change is not proof of a lasting reversal. Compare BOS and CHoCH terminology ↗

FVG · an imbalance with defined boundaries

A Fair Value Gap commonly uses a three-candle sequence with an unoverlapped interval between the relevant extremes of the first and third candles. The middle move creates the imbalance being classified.

The area may fill, remain open or fail to produce the reaction you expected. See the product’s FVG explanation ↗

You can annotate a TradingView chart manually with drawing tools. Compare a premium indicator for the work it performs beyond those drawings: maintaining the area map, tracking zone history, arranging references or identifying events for alerts. That is a practical feature comparison rather than a claim that paid software must improve returns.

TRADINGVIEW WORKFLOW / CHART SETTINGS AND ALERTS

Keep the SMC chart and its TradingView alert aligned

A readable display is only part of the workspace. The symbol, data provider, timeframe and indicator inputs define the chart condition you are studying. Make those details explicit before deciding which notification should bring you back. This keeps the practical setup connected to the example you intend to review.

1 · Record the exact chart context

Save the TradingView ticker, data provider, timeframe and relevant session. Gold spot, a Gold futures contract and a broker’s Gold CFD are related instruments, but their quoted prices and candles need not be identical.

2 · Choose the supported event deliberately

After reviewing the indicator inputs, select the condition you want to monitor: a new area, zone entry, qualified sweep or Buy/Sell setup, where the product supports it. Check frequency, expiry and delivery in TradingView’s alert setup.

3 · Save what you saw when notified

Record the event time, chart state and current quote. A message viewed later can refer to an earlier condition. Keep the original observation alongside what the chart shows now, including failed or invalidated examples.

Liquidity Sweep Signals TradingView product illustration with chart levels and event dashboard
Choose the chart condition first, then configure the corresponding notification. Product feature illustration. Enlarge image ↗

Recreate an alert after changing the configuration it should use

TradingView saves a separate snapshot of the script, inputs and chart context when you create an alert. Later chart or input edits do not update that saved alert. Recreate it when you want the new configuration to apply. The official Pine alerts FAQ explains this distinction; keep the alert name specific enough that you can recognise the configuration it represents.

Adding the indicator does not create the notification for you

Create the alert from the chart using the script’s supported condition, then check it in the alert manager. TradingView runs active alerts on its servers, so they do not require an open browser tab. The alert setup guide covers notification options, while the Pine alert documentation explains how script events become running alerts. A notification remains separate from an instruction executed in a trading account.

REVIEW / CHECK THE WORKSPACE BEFORE RELYING ON IT

An eight-point TradingView SMC chart and alert checklist

Start with observations you can revisit. Keep a small set of fixed settings, save the original condition and retain the cases where an area changed or failed. The checklist gives your chart and notification setup a consistent review structure without treating a promotional screenshot as a performance test.

Eight checks for the chart, condition and notification

0 of 8 reviewed

These checks record workspace preparation and observations. They do not verify a strategy’s win rate, certify an alert’s suitability or guarantee trading results.

QUESTIONS / SMC INDICATORS AND TRADINGVIEW SETUP

TradingView Smart Money Concepts indicator FAQs

What are the best Smart Money Concepts indicators for TradingView?

Choose by the chart task. This VIP Algos guide compares Smart Money Concepts for a combined structure map, AI Liquidity Sweep Signals for qualified reclaims, AI Order Blocks & Fair Value Gap Zones for area classification, Smart Money AI Signals for setup references, and AI Supply & Demand Zones for freshness and retests. The products are compared by features, without an independently verified ranking of trading performance.

Should I choose an all-in-one SMC indicator or separate specialist tools?

A combined map can help when you want several SMC elements available together. A specialist can be more useful when you already know how you interpret structure and want one job handled consistently, such as maintaining FVG areas or identifying a sweep. Compare the demonstrations for the missing part of your process. More scripts and more matching labels do not automatically provide independent evidence.

What is the difference between order blocks, fair value gaps and liquidity sweeps?

In these products, an order block is a confirmed structure-and-displacement area, an FVG is a defined three-candle imbalance and a sweep is a qualified move beyond a mapped liquidity-style level followed by a reclaim. Blocks and gaps classify locations. A sweep classifies an event. None gives direct access to actual private institutional orders.

Can I use these TradingView SMC indicators for forex, Gold and crypto?

The product pages describe use across markets and timeframes, including forex, Gold/XAUUSD, cryptocurrency, indices and other supported charts. Choose the exact TradingView symbol and available data source, then review the inputs and chart period. Common software features do not establish equal behaviour or results across instruments. Check the actual instrument and execution environment separately.

Do these TradingView indicators repaint or guarantee a reversal?

No reversal is guaranteed. Repainting behaviour needs to be assessed for the individual script, inputs and data. A developing reading, a swing confirmed later and a zone removed after filling or invalidation are different cases. Keep observations of when features first appear and compare the later chart with that record. This guide makes no blanket non-repainting claim for all five tools.

How do I add the indicator, and do I need a paid TradingView plan?

Use the current product access instructions under the correct TradingView account, add the supplied indicator to your chart and review Settings before creating alerts. Product access and TradingView platform subscriptions are separate. Check your current plan’s indicator, alert, timeframe and market-data limits for the features you intend to use. Follow the product’s current access route rather than assuming every tool is distributed in the same way.

Can I receive SMC alerts on my phone when the chart is closed?

Active TradingView alerts run on its servers. For a supported script condition, create the alert, select Notify on App and check delivery in the mobile app signed into the same account, with device notifications allowed. The browser tab does not need to remain open. Review the alert’s active status and expiry; receiving a notification does not place a trade.

Why does my alert still use settings I changed on the chart?

An existing alert keeps the script and chart configuration saved when it was created. Recreate the alert after changing the inputs or chart context you want it to use. Naming alerts clearly helps you distinguish old and new configurations. Check the alert log and delivery options when a notification does not match your expectation.

YOUR NEXT STEP / A CHART AND ALERT ROUTINE YOU CAN FOLLOW

Choose the SMC view that makes your next TradingView review clearer

Compare Smart Money Concepts for the broader chart map, then inspect the specialist demo for the task you repeat most. A clear sweep event, an organised area map or a readable setup display can each serve a different purpose.
