What is a Volume Profile Indicator?
A Volume Profile Indicator shows how much market activity took place at different price levels rather than only showing activity over time. This can help traders see where the market accepted price heavily and where activity was unusually thin.
What is the Point of Control (POC)?
The Point of Control is the price bin with the highest activity inside the current rolling profile. It is often watched as an important reference level because it represents the strongest concentration of profile activity.
What are Value Area High and Value Area Low?
Value Area High and Value Area Low mark the upper and lower edges of the main profile value area around the Point of Control. Traders often watch these levels for holds, rejections, retests and breaks.
What is a High Volume Zone?
A High Volume Zone is an area where the profile shows heavier-than-normal market activity. These zones can become important areas of acceptance, support/resistance, congestion or price interaction.
What is a Low Volume Zone?
A Low Volume Zone is an area where profile activity is thinner. These areas can be useful for spotting rejection zones, faster price movement and transitions between stronger high-volume areas.

The indicator is designed for TradingView charts across markets such as Forex, stocks, cryptocurrency, indices, Gold and futures. When volume data is unavailable, the script can fall back to candle activity for the rolling profile model.
